Wonder what’s new in Sage Hall Dining? The answer is ExecutiveChoice, the new dining alternative that provides convenience and savings for students in the business school.

Cornell Dining and the Johnson School have customized a debit account for the exclusive use of its graduate students. When a student enrolls in ExecutiveChoice, an account is opened with encoded data on their student ID. The student ID can then be used like cash, simply by swiping at any of the Sage Hall cash registers.

Meals purchased through the ExecutiveChoice program are exempt from the 8% sales tax. In addition, all Johnson School students enrolled in the program receive a 5% discount on all meal purchases in Sage. The ID card can also be used to pay for items anywhere on campus, wherever Big Red Bucks are accepted.

Facts:
· The minimum opening deposit is $50, billed through the Bursar’s Office.
· Balances carry from Fall to Spring semester; all monies must be used by May 18.
· Students may enroll or add funds at any Sage Dining cash register. Simply fill out the card and the funds will be available the next day.
· There is a $15 enrollment fee.

Currently, less than 200 of the 550 JGSM students are enrolled in the program. If you analyze the overcrowding and backed-up lines during lunchtime rush hour, you’ll notice that the cash registers are the bottleneck resource. Patrons paying for their meals with cash or credit card slow the process even more. ExecutiveChoice is a simple card-swipe, no signing receipts or making change, and you’re on your way. It’s fast, convenient, and saves money, so sign up now.
